<<Occasionally last winter we got some ice.  It looked really pretty from our deck, like jewels sparkling in the sunlight.  I'm afraid my camera can't do it anywhere near justice.>>

<<Winter's over, ice is gone, spring is springing. 

With the spring came torrential rains. We received 9" one day, and we were the ones who didn't get much!  Parts of Oklahoma suffered severe flooding  Pawhuska was lucky, the damage was minor.  We're on a hilltop so we're above it all.  Our pond was filled to overflowing and we had rapids cascading down Rolland's Road.>>

<<I know there was a road around here somewhere. 



The spillway at Lake Bluestem.  It's usually just a trickle, if that.>>
