Christmas Letter
Season's Greetings, Bah Humbug, and other assorted holiday salutations. More and more the years simply blend together and I'm not sure what happened when. I'm not even sure what happened this year vs. last! "Time Marching On" is a tune I'm really tired of listening to.

It's been another year of the same old same old at the South 40. Gardening, chickening, blackberrying, maintenancing, mowing, grassing, logging, treeing, and musicing when we can. We went to a couple of festivals, various pickings, and Trish is becoming more and more noted as a bass player extraordinaire!
We do try to take a break once a day (weather permitting) for beer and to enjoy the always changing view of the pond and surrounding hillsides from our deck.
Trish and Jami did a couple of their usual girls' getaway jaunts. First to OKC and Ft. Worth, and next to the Shangri La resort near Grove.
One event of note: Trish and I celebrated our
anniversary this year. I gave Trish a case of Dos Equis for
our 20th. For this one the best I could do was make a label and tell
her to imagine!

My mother passed away this year at the age of 96. She lived a long full life. For family, and others who might be interested, I've prepared a memorial page. A short biography of her life is also available.
Please sign our guestbook before you leave. Thanks!
