We currently have eight head of chicken. Our Russky chicken passed away this year. We were surprized, she wasn't that old. The oldest two are still hale and hearty and going strong. We had another good blackberry year and the hay crop was decent. I still run the garden year around and am rewarded with daily fresh picked kale and spinach.
We've gone from construction to repair. There's always something.
We did a couple of benefit gigs again, and had assorted pickings during the course of the year.
Festivalwise we didn't do the biggie (Winfield) this year. We did go to a couple of smaller music festivals: In the spring, the DYI Festival at Greenleaf State Park and in the fall, the Tallgrass Music Festival in Skiatook. They were very pleasant and we had a really good time at both of them.
Trish's bass playing talents have been much in demand this year. She's enjoying playing ocassionally with the all girl band "I'm Not Lisa" and quite frequently with the well known fiddler Shelby Eicher. Be sure to visit the Music Pix page!
Anyone passing this way is always welcome to drop in and sit a spell. Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a wonderful holiday season and we wish you all the best for the coming year.
