Christmas Letter
Merry Christmask!
Christmas 2020 will go down in history as the Covid Christmas -- not soon to be forgotten and hopefully never to be repeated.
It's time to start believing in Santa Claus. Really. Lord knows we need something that we can all believe in.

Dear Santa:
Please bring us the gift of unity before this nation
completely flies apart into red and blue fragments.
Please bring the leaders of this country the gift of public service so they start doing what's right for the people and not just themselves. Bring them the gift of humility so they realize they don't know it all and will listen to those who do ;-) Bring them the gift of cooperation so they realize not everything has to be a divisive issue and they can work together to defeat a common foe.
Please bring the people the gift of belief in science, education, and rational thought. Not everything is rumor, hoax, or fake news. The threats to this nation are real. Bring them the wisdom and common sense to see through the "Fake Divisions" the politicians are foisting upon us. We should be, we must be, one nation and a united people.

Being retired, we have not suffered the economic devastation (loss of job, loss of business) that's afflicted so many. Since we live in the country, our daily routine has been far less affected than many of those in cities. For that we are truly grateful.
We've taken the covid threat very seriously. We've done almost no travel, and almost no music. I don't think I've been to a restaurant all year. We limit our hands on shopping to the essentials and stay home as much as possible.
Too bad somebody didn't think of this -- it could have been a great
Christmas slogan/campaign:
"This year EVERYONE has a chance to play
Santa. The greatest gift you personally can give to your fellow Americans
is to wear a mask and stop the spread." Merry Christmask!!
Please sign our guestbook before you leave. Thanks!
