Trish's Travels.
I took two trips this year without Allan.  (We have to stagger our trips so one of us can stay home to tend to the livestock, both furred and feathered.)  In the summer, I traveled with my niece Amy and her kids, Jack and Siena, to Arizona.  It was our first time to see the Grand Canyon.  In the fall, my dear friend Jami and I took our yearly road trip.  Jami discovered that Hermann, MO, has an Oktoberfest every weekend in October.  We decided to check it out. The time spent was too short, so we have already made our reservations for 2019's Oktoberfest.

Even at 93, my mother is still quite the intrepid traveler.  Earlier this year she flew down to Florida to meet and greet her first great great grandchild.  In November we drove up to Omaha for her 93rd birthday party (at daughter Charlene's house) where she also got to see her latest great grandchild (number 12, there's also another on the way).  This Christmas she'll fly down to San Antonio to spend Christmas with her daughter Diane and other family members.

In Omaha:  seems like we played cards round the clock.>>

While up in Omaha I miraculously ran into Nucy's long lost twin brother,  Thor.  How he wound up at my sister's I haven't a clue. (Thor is on the chair, Nucy is lower right.)>>

Just before Christmas Trish and I took a quick run down to Allen, Texas to visit Trish's niece Amy and family.

Speaking of miraculous occurrences and long lost twin brothers, I ran into mine at Amy's.  What are the odds?>>
