Introducing Nuisánce de Monie Pitt

Previously, Trish had spotted evidence of a cat hanging around our barn.  Early in the spring, we heard strange noises in the barn and discovered a litter of kittens:  Nucy's older half siblings.  Early in the summer, Trish saw the same mother cat near the house carting her kittens off to a new location.  Later that day we heard the same strange noise coming from the front porch.  It was Nucy crying.  We left her there overnight hoping that her mother would return.  It rained, of course, and she spend a hideous night cold, wet, hungry, alone and she cried the whole time.  When she was still there the next day, we figured she'd been abandoned, so Trish rescued her.  We wanted a barn cat to catch mice.  You can imagine how that worked out.  The rest, as they say, is history.

<<Her older half-siblings, whom we don't believe she's ever met.

Dry, warm, and full.  Life is now good.>>

<<She was sure a tiny little tyke.

Feeding time at the zoo.>>

<<Isn't she cute?  She had such pretty blue eyes when she was younger.

Looks more like a mouse than a mouser.>>

<<Finally looking like a respectable kitten rather than an abandoned ragamuffin.

Talk about a spooky Halloween Kitty.>>

<<Lounging around the garage.  She now has golden eyes like her mother.

The mighty hunter.  She catches moths, lizards, and already her first rat.>>

<<No matter how many water bowls you set out, animals always like drinking out of something else.

Enjoying family hour.>>
